Each year we, CVM The outfit, sorry, Charity behind The Gathering subsidise tickets costs in a variety of ways to try and keep the event as affordable for you men as we can. Many of you buy tickets for mates, in bulk and in faith so we always want to honour that by doing all we can to keep the event affordable whilst also possible in the ever-increasing world of event costs. So, to make that clear and to show the real ticket cost to make the event possible we have 3 ticket options and here’s what they mean.
This is essentially a ticket that we support the cost of, or top up if you like.
How do we do that? Well, we do it in faith and by trying to fundraise.
We ask individuals, churches, businesses for gifts, donations and help during the year to cover it because we want this to be affordable to the men that need it. If this is what you can afford, then it’s the ticket for you. You don’t need to prove you are eligible, just buy this one.
This is what the actual ticket costs, for the event to work, for us to bring in all the components and set up, and to simply break even as an event.
We have a certain number of free places we gift each year from CVM, we also have a few that are made possible by men in the network who give for exactly this, to make it possible for men who really can’t afford any tickets but still need to be at this event. This is the supporter option.
